Juanita “Hanky” Maxine Mitchell, daughter of Jennie Wright and the late Jessie James Mitchell, was born in Kershaw County on January 16, 1987. She was a faithful member of Gum Springs Baptist Church #2 and was educated in the Kershaw County District.
Juanita passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2018 at KershawHealth.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Gum Springs Baptist Church #2 (Bishopville Hwy.) Interment will take place in Antioch Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church for viewing one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie James Mitchell, and her grandparents, Rebecca Wright and Busta Cooke.
She leaves to celebrate and cherish her memories; two daughters: Ty’Kira and Ny’Aeria Mitchell of Camden, SC; her mother: Jennie Wright of Camden, SC; four sisters: Amanda Mitchell and Kimberly Wright of Camden, SC, Jasamine Mitchell and Rosetta Mitchell of Lugoff, SC; four brothers: Harold Wright of Camden, SC, Derek Jackson, Dewayne Jackson, and Antwain Outten of Columbia, SC; two great aunts: Annie Bell Mitchell and Sarah Forman; a special caregiver, Debbie Bonek, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends may call or visit at the residence of her mother (68 Hunting Inc. Rd., Camden.)
