Erica Bernadette Brown

It is with deepest sympathy that we announce death of Ms. Erica B. Brown of 499 Bruce Drive in Camden.  Ms. Brown entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at KershawHealth.

Erica Bernadette Brown was born on July 18th, 1972 in Roselle, New Jersey to Robert and Bernard B. Brown.

She spent her younger years in Roselle, New Jersey and her adult life in Camden, South Carolina.

She attended South Carolina State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Legal Studies and continued her studies at South University. Ms. Brown was also an esteemed member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Ms. Brown spent many years working in Education like her parents. She impacted the lives of countless children as an instructional assistant in Richland School District Two.

Ms. Brown’s greatest accomplishment is her daughter Nia Camille Brown, a United States Marine.

Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her father, Robert D. Brown, Sr of Camden, SC.

She is survived by her daughter: Nia Camille Brown; her mother: Bernard B. Brown: a brother: Robert D. Brown, Jr; a nephew: Robert D. Brown, III; a beloved aunt: Rudine B. Nelson; an uncle: David Brogdon, Sr.; and her cousins: James Truesdell, III, Taunya Chivers, Brian Chivers, Bianca Chivers-White, Hudnell Brogdon, David Brogdon, Jr., Kim Brogdon, Yanez Brogdon, Vincent Brogdon, and Stephanie Brogdon.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 6:00 PM at Journey Church (1151 Longreen Parkway, Columbia, SC.)
