It is with profound sympathy that we announce passing of Mr. Spencer Wilson, Jr. of 5198 Ousleydale Rd in Hartsville.

Spencer "Bobby" Wilson, Jr. transitioned on Wednesday, June 25, 2020 at his daughter's residence in Hartsville.

Mr. Wilson was a deacon at United First Born Church in Camden.  He served in the United States Army. He was a Master Carpenter and worked at Wateree Textiles/ Springs Mills.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Wilson; his parents: Spencer, Sr. and Emma Wilson; a brother: Issaih Wilson; two sisters: Bess Anderson and Louise Wilson; and two nephews: Calvin Dash and Johnny Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories one daughter: Louvenia Washington (Robert); one son: Eric Wilson; grandchildren: Rakeria Washington and Shearlicia Erika Washington; one brother: Jimmy Wilson (Rose); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and sisters-in-law.

The family would like to thank McCleod Health Care, McCleod Hospice, Angelic Health Care, Dr. William Martin, and Dr. A of Hartsville Medical Group.

There will be no public funeral service.  Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date at Florence National Cemetery.
