It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the death of Mr. Sam Wells, Jr. of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Camden.

Mr. Wells entered into rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Atrium Health Pineville (Charlotte, NC.)

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Union Baptist Church Family Life Center (Rembert.)  Public viewing will be held on Friday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Sam Wells, Jr., 57, was born July 6, 1961 to Sam (Nick) and Elouise (Patterson) Wells in Camden, SC.  He departed this earthly life on January 2, 2019 in Charlotte, NC.

Sam Jr. was educated at Camden High School; and worked for Ultimate Parking Management in Detroit, MI.

Sam acknowledged and accepted Christ into his life.  Sam enjoyed being around his friends and family often being the center of attention making everyone laugh.

Sam Jr. leaves to cherish his loving memories two sisters; Jackie (Carsen) Council of Warren, MI, Deborah (Donnie) Anthony of Camden, SC; Three brothers Thomas (Elizabeth) Wells of Charlotte, NC, and Author Glover of Camden, SC; a host of seven nieces, four nephews, one great-nephew, cousins, a play brother; Chick Nelson, and friends that loved him dearly.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents; Sam (Nick) Wells Sr. and Elouise Patterson-Wells.
