Mr. Leroy Woods was born to the late Mrs. Ophelia Woods Jones and Mr. Isaac Woods, Sr. on June 16, 1954.  He departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2016 at his residence.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016  at 11:00 AM at Brown's Funeral Home Chapel of Remembrance.

Leroy was raised in Lugoff where he attended the public schools of Kershaw County and did various jobs around town.

His daily commute was to his cousin, Monk's, car wash and back home. On Sundays he visited with friends and neighbors (Lil Ben, Bo and Jeffery.)

He enjoyed life to the fullest right up until the day that God called him home.  There was never a dull moment around Leroy.  No matter what kind of hardships he faced, he was always cheerful.  If you were ever down and out, he would make you laugh with his crazy sense of humor which will be greatly missed.

Leroy is going to his final resting place to join his mother, Ophelia Woods Jones; father, Isaac Woods, Sr.; brothers, Lloyd, Melvin, Shelley, James, Sammie and Marion; sisters, Katie Dubose and Lillie Huggins.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Eric Mitchell and Edward Woods; two sisters, Cathy Woods and Isabelle Hill of Columbia; two brothers, Isaac Woods, Jr. of New York, Herbert Lee Woods of Mississippi; three sisters-in-law, Linda Woods of Lugoff, Vivian Woods of Mississippi and Ella Mae Woods of Camden; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
