Ms. Josephine "Snook" Butler of Camden went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Springdale Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. Stephen Baptist Church in Rembert.  The body will be placed in the church for viewing one hour prior to the service.  Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Josephine was born August 2, 1930 in Camden, South Carolina to the late Leonard Butler, Sr. and Lottie Patterson Butler.

She was educated in the public schools of Kershaw County, South Carolina and was a graduate of Jackson High School.

Josephine accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church in Boykin, SC.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Leonard Butler, Sr. and Lottie Patterson Butler; and her four siblings, Lenon Butler, Jr., Edith Whitaker, Laura Bell, and Mamie Blakeley.

Miss Butler leaves to cherish her fond and precious memory, many nephews, nieces, cousins, close relatives and friends.
