Jasper Harris is the second born son of Richard J. and Bright E. Harris.  He was born in Heath Springs, SC on January 14, 1943.  Jasper attended Hillside in Lancaster County and Jackson School in Kershaw County throught the eighth grade.

Jasper has always been industrious and worked hard within the home.  Because of his disabilities, he was limited in things that he could have done.  He enjoyed his family, church and good food.

His favority hymn was "Amazing Grace."  Jasper had a smile that would light up a room. He was always a "Good Boy" as he would say.

He is survived by his brother, T.J. Harris (Margaret) of Florence, SC; a sister, Evelyn Harris (B.J.) of Sumter, SC; 10 nephews; six nieces and a number of cousins in both the Hicklen and Harris families.
