Mrs. Ida Mae Frazier Bracey Jones, daughter of the late Eddie Frazier and Edna Frazier Alexander, was born on June 4, 1929 and departed this earthly life on April 30, 2016.

She was educated in the public schools of Lancaster and Kershaw counties.  At an early age, she was converted, baptized and joined the Mt. Oliver Baptist Church in Kershaw, SC.  She later joined Red Hill Baptist Church, Mt. Joshua Baptist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Society Board, Usher Board and Senior Choir.  Mother worked at B.F. Goodrich, Cato Fashions and also worked as a caregiver for a number of years.  She worked whenever or wherever she was needed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Levy Bracey; a son, Levy Hazel Bracey; one sister, Mozella Forman and George Jones, whom she married later in life.

Those left to cherish her fond memories are her four children; Ed Kelson (Ronay) Bracey of Columbia, Mary B. Stradford of Camden, Emma (Leverne) Woods of Effingham and Thomas (Clarissa) Bracey of Camden; 13 grandchildren; Ed Jr., Angela, Latithia, Ronnie Jr., Toni, Branda, Kelsie, Terri, Kelson, Stacy, Thomas, Lashonda and Ida Louise; 20 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; Cora Bracey of Charlotte, Cora Anderson, Mable Duren and Carolyn Duren all of Camden; three brothers-in-law; Tilman Bracey of Camden, Eddie Bracey of Rock Hill and Johnnie Bracey of Danbury, CT; a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
