Bessie Mae Dubose Broom was born on June 11, 1941 in Cassatt, SC.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Leroy Dubose and Mrs. Emma Stokes Dubose.  She entered into eternal rest on June 5, 2015 at KershawHealth.

Bessie was a kind and gentle woman.  She never encounterd an enemy.  She befriended all and had many gracious friends.  Bessie was loved and will truly be missed by her family and friends.  May your memories of her brighten your day hereafter.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her sister, Mrs. Lillie Mae Dubose (late Edward) Lane; six sisters - in - law and one brother - in - law.  She also has two step-daughters and one stepson of Columbia, SC.  Bessie has a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and sorrowful relatives and friends.  Preceding Bessie's passing were here husband, Richard Broom, one daughter, two sisters, two brothers, one sister - in - law, and three brothers - in - law.
