Mr. Marion Boykin was born on June 8, 1946 in Rembert, South Carolina to the late Mae Bell Boykin and Henry Bennett Boykin. He departed his earthly life of Sunday, June 16, 2019 at A. Same Karesh Long Term Care Center.
He worked many years as a house mover, as well as, being a dedicated and loving father and grandfather.
When he took up residence in the Karesh Wing, he slowly expanded his family. His presence will be truly missed, but his spirit will linger in our hearts and memories.
He leaves to Cherish his memory two sons: Marion E. Boykin and Scottie (Anita) Boykin, both of Camden, SC; two sisters: Mrs. Edna Rabb of Brooklyn, NY and Mrs. Lillie May Drakeford of Cassatt, SC; one brother: Richard (Mae) Boykin of Camden, SC; four grandsons: Brandon, Marcus, Quentin, and Scyvion; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Brown's Funeral Home Chapel of Remembrance.
Family and friends may call or visit at the home of his son, Marion E. Boykin (81 Joy Rd, Camden, SC) between the hours of 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM daily.
