Drucilla Cassandra Brown

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

It is with profound sympathy that we announce the passing of Ms. Drucilla C.Brown of Charleston, formerly of Camden.  Ms. Brown entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 8, 2019 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Drucilla Cassandra Brown was born on October 13, 1958 in Cassatt, South Carolina to the late Robert and Louise Brown.  She attended the schools of Kershaw County, graduating from Camden High School.  She continued her education at SC State College and Claflin University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. She also became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

 Upon completing college, Drucilla became the Property Manager at Wateree Villas Apartments for many years and touched many lives.  She then moved on to Charleston to continue working as a Property Manager and obtain her Masters Degree. Anyone that knew Drucilla is aware that she was dedicated to God, family, and friends.  Her three granddaughters were the light of her life.

 She leaves behind two sons: Demeitrus (Stephanie) Ferguson, and Julian (Aris) Ferguson; three grandchildren: Taylor, Kennedy, and Reagan Ferguson; two brothers: Keith Brown and Robert Brown; one sister: Roberta Brown-Johnson; a special aunt: Deloris Gilbert; and many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Bethel Worship Center in Camden.
