My heart goes out to the cook family. I met Mr. Stanley at pine grove in 2011, and what a great man he was .Mr. Stanley always treated me like his daughter always giving me advice and showing me how to stay calm and never letting little things get me down. He also pushed me to want more out of life.Mr. Stanley also was a great cook ....when i was pregnant w my son he always made sure i ate good. I use to live in florence and i drove over and hr and thirty min to work everyday and he always was concern about me falling asleep on the road. Thats the kind a man he was caring , nice , hardworker, a family man who love his wife and his precious daughter. I will never forget his smile and how humble he was...Mr.Stanley will be miss. I wish i could be there for your rest but as soon as i get back down south to visit, i will make it my best to come see u ..but until then rest until we meet again. Love you always Ovonda kelly toney

My condolences to the family of Mr. Cook. It is so difficult when a loved one falls asleep in death. Our heavenly father feels the pain that it causes. He offers comfort from his word the Bible to help cope with those feelings. Psalm 147:3 says; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. And at Isaiah 33:24a he promise in the near future; And no resident will say: "I am sick". Soon the earth will be a paradise and sickness and death will be gone (Revelation 21:4).
